Robert John (''Bob'') Bieschke, 80, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Greenville, Texas.

Bob was born on September 21, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to parents Raymond Anthony Bieschke and Bernice Marie Goss.

Bob was born into a hard-working family where he grew up enjoying special events like a Cubs game with his father or Blackhawks game with mom. The family loved to travel. Colorado was a favorite where they visited a cowboy camp several times and spent a lot of time in Wisconsin with family. Bob was an alter server at his local Catholic church. During the summer Bob would spend a lot of his time at the neighborhood pool with friends, playing tennis and golf. As a youth and throughout his life, Bob was never one to shy away from work. Some of his early jobs included being a caddie at the local golf course, working at the local grocery store, a butcher shop, and being a postal worker. Bob graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1963.

He went on to study electrical engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). During college, Bob met his wife, Patricia Crowley. After graduation, Bob went to work for Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Their first son, Robert, was born there. Shortly after, Bob took a job in Texas which turned into a long career with Texas Instruments (''TI''). Over his electrical engineering career, Bob worked on various projects including the Lunar Landing Module, Harpoon Missile systems, map-of-the-earth radars for F-111's and Sikorsky HH-3E (the ''Jolly Green Giant''), the F-23, and many other projects.

When not working, Bob enjoyed spending time with his family. A few years after moving to Plano, TX their second son, Tom was born. In 1975, a third son, Stephen, was born, and the world changed for the Bieschke family. Stephen was born with spina bifida. He had many surgeries and medical conditions in his early years. Stephen was a joy and a blessing, and he brought the family closer together. In 1976, Pat and Bob were founding members of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Community. While Pat and Bob were far from their family in Chicago, through the Church, they met their ''Texas Family'', whom they shared holidays and special events, that added to the love and laughter in their home. Bob coached the boys in basketball, volunteered on the board of the local basketball association, was an active member of the men's club at church and took the family on many adventures in the family station wagon.

After retiring from TI, Bob worked for Alcatel on cellular communications gear. Bob was remarried to Doris ''Dale'' Roper in 1996. In retirement, Bob spent time volunteering at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, playing golf, and travelling. Bob loved his time as ''Grampy''. He was a proud grandfather to five grandsons, and one great-grandson. Bob was widowed in 2007. A few years later, Bob met Patricia DeVeny of Greenville, TX. They were great friends and partners and traveled the world over their 17 years together. They enjoyed cruising and spent over 600 days at sea together. Bob and Patricia had one last great adventure in November where they were able to take one more cruise with Bob's sons and their wives. Bob's love and adventurous spirit will be missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his best friend and partner Patricia DeVeny; sons Robert Bieschke (Diana) and Thomas Bieschke (Stephanie); grandchildren Taylor Bieschke (Brooke), Ethan, Jake, Will and Sam Bieschke; Great grandson Maddox Bieschke; Sister-in-Law, Gail Bieschke; he was preceded in death by his parents, son, Stephen Bieschke, brother, Richard Bieschke, wife Dale Bieschke.
