Roger Larry Key, 85, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, January 12, 2026. There will be a private family graveside at De Leon Cemetery, held at a later date.
Larry was born April 27, 1940, Gorman, Texas, to Thomas and Ethel May Key. He married Linda Hammon on July 7, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas. He worked and retired from E-Systems/Raytheon and was a member of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
Roger is survived by his wife, Linda Key; daughters, Sheryl Nicholson and husband, Bubba, Kimberly Owen and husband, Danny; sister, Anita Mohon; grandchildren, Cody Nicholson and wife, Maci, Allison Nicholson, Tyler Nicholson and wife, Kelly, Christopher Brownlee and wife, Kandyce, Tessie Brownlee; nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.

    My condolences to Larryโ€™s family. I raced at the Super Bowl back in 70โ€™s. I knew and respected Larry very well. He had no equal as a race car driver in my opinion, Godspeed Larry, rest in peace my friend.
