Barbara was born, May 26, 1934, in Greenville, Texas, to J. W. and Ida Mae Wilson Stanford. She attended and graduated from Greenville High School in 1952, where she was a member of the Flaming Flashes, Sophomore Class Favorite, Senior Band Sweetheart and Most Beautiful. She married Gerald Wayne Little on January 5, 1953, in Durant, Oklahoma. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, until retirement on July 1, 1989. She was of the Baptist faith.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jerry Little and wife, Shelly; daughter, Susan Little Herbert and husband, David; grandchildren, Jonathan Herbert and wife, Ali, Julie Herbert, Jeremy Little and wife, Jessica, Kittrell Vinson, Charles Vinson, Maddie Sentry and husband, Garrett; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Herbert, Charli Herbert, Sadie Herbert, Leighton Little, Leif Sentry; sister, Betty King; sister-in-law, Joy Davis and husband, Howard , Linda Devers, Barbara Stanford and brother-in-law Larry Little and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Jamie Little; brothers, Jody Stanford and wife, Linda, Michael Stanford, sister-in-law Vicki Little Katchinska, brother-in-law, Charles King and nieces Vickie Stapleton and Cheryl Clark.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Herbert, Jeremy Little, Bubba King, Jeff Stanford, Steve Stanford, Joel Stanford, Kevin Stanford and James Stanford.
