Scott Alan Knapp and Melinda Kaye Knapp, both 52, of Greenville, Texas, passed away surrounded by their loving family and friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Texoma Medical Center. A celebration of their lives will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Bain Lake House, 7223 County Road 3516, Quinlan, Texas with Mrs. Brittany Sims officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Johnson City, TX Thursday, February 19, 2026 I am at a loss and can only imagine how those who spent much more time around these two than me must be hurting. The short time I was around Scott was a Blessing. He was always funny and able to give you crap while making you feel a part of it all. He came at you full force but had a huge heart. I just want to send prayers and condolences to all effected by this great loss. I pray God wraps His loving arms around you and gives you peace in this difficult time. The hurt gets easier to bare over time but we never forget the great memories. Memories are the good stuff and I have some awesome Scott memories that I will always cherish.
