Robert Wilson Adams, 76, of Celeste, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Plano, Texas, surrounded by those who loved him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and the legacy he leaves behind. Coker-Matthews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born on July 4, 1949, in Richmond, Kentucky, to Robert Dalton Adams and Uneeda Dunaway Adams. Born on Independence Day, he carried a quiet strength and steadfast spirit throughout his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, reflecting a deep sense of duty, resilience, and love for his family and country.

Robert was a man who valued hard work, loyalty, and the importance of family. He was a steady presence, a provider, and a man who lived life on his own terms. Those who knew him will remember his strength, his determination, and the way he showed love in both word and action.

He is survived by Frances Adams; his sons, Robert Shaun & Shehanna, Jamie, Cory & Tracy, and Eathan; and his daughter, Rachel & Tim Collins; brother Dwayne; sisters Gigi Seibel and Pam Moritz along with fourteen cherished grandchildren, Michael, Bryan, Anthony, Allison, Abigail, Aaron, Alex, Regan, Kane, Kennedy, Braylee, Kaleb, Addison and Peyton; who were a proud and meaningful part of his life. He leaves behind a family who will carry forward his name, his values, and the memories they shared. Proceeded in death by his parents and his beloved sister Sue Bourland.

He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
