Paul was born on December 24,1954 in Ennis, Texas to Paul Maldonado, Sr. and Mary Ramirez Maldonado. He married Teena Nix on May 20, 1978 in Greenville, Texas, they were married 47 wonderful years. He worked as a Postal Clerk and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Teena Maldonado; sisters-in-law, Ruth Norton and husband, Jan, Trisha Brantley; nephews, J. Stephen Brantley and husband, Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper, Christopher James and wife, Ashleigh, Stuart James and wife, Brittany, Brandon Maldonado; nieces, Jennifer Brantley, Jeri Anne Bahan and husband, Patrick, and Shannon Bates and husband, Mike Bates; brother, David Maldonado; brother-in-law, Jason Conover; grandnieces and grandnephews, Kaden James, Makayla James, Ashton James, Baylee Maldonado, Rowan James, Lennon James, Ridleigh Bates, Camdyn Bates, Audrey Bahn and Clara Bahn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Pamela Sue Maldonado, Carla Maldonado Conover, niece, Melissa Brantley, sister-in-law, Betty Maldonado and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Christopher James, Stuart James, Kaden James, Ashton James, Jason Conover and Mike Bates. Honorary pallbearers will be Rowan James, J. Stephen Brantley, David Maldonado, Brandon Maldonado and Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper.
