Deleathia Wilson Bray

Deleathia, affectionately called MeMaw by many, lived by three rules:

-No matter how late you'll be, never leave the house without makeup,
-Never leave a chicken leg on the table you might need a snack for later
-Your closet will always hold a new pair of shoes.

She embraced life wholeheartedly and always made sure those around her were well cared for, ensuring they never went hungry. MeMaw dedicated more than twenty years to a career in nursing, where she made a meaningful difference in many lives. Following her retirement, she continued her commitment to service by working with preschool children at her church.

Deleathia D. Wilson Bray, born March 7, 1942, was welcomed into Heaven on March 9, 2026, by the love of her life George Andrew Wilson and her youngest son, Rickey Dewayne Wilson. She was also met by a wonderful man and second husband, Charles Leon Bray. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., Thursday March 12, 2026, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Weiland Cemetery.

She leaves behind her family who were her greatest pride: her two sons, Mickey Denton Wilson and Tim Russell Wilson(friend Patty), one daughter, Deleathia (Sissy) Garner(Tony); her loving grandchildren, Keva Hamilton(Michael), Cody Pippin, Amber Fisher(Wallace), Deleathia Eang(Shane), Noel Strickhausen(Dalton), Toni Jones(Matthew), Brittany Lemons, LeAnn Sugg(Chris), Monalisa Gayle, Trenton Wilson(Georgia). Although I didn't know her personally, her children and grandchildren give a very clear representation of their upbringing. They are all very loving, kindhearted individuals and "the nut doesn't fall very far from the tree" so she had to be the most loving and kindhearted individual ever! To Tim, Sissy, Micky, Trenton, and the entire family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

She will be missed by so many. She was always sure to tell everyone how she felt about them. There was never a time we weren't welcomed with a loud hello and left with a genuine "I love you".
