Mary was born May 12, 1945, in Greenville, Texas, to Rafe and Mary Emma Barnett Wallace. She was a rancher and caretaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted mother, proud member of the Wallace family, and lifelong resident of her beloved hometown. She was known for her deep love of family, her vibrant personality, and her gift for bringing people together.
Mary Rafe found joy in traveling, hosting gatherings, decorating her home, and tending to her yard and greenhouse. Holidays, especially the Fourth of July and Christmas, were her specialty, filled with food, laughter, and cherished traditions. A true Daddy's girl, she carried forward her family's history and values, often sharing stories rooted in her upbringing and heritage. Her strong will, warmth, and unmistakable spirit made her the heart of every gathering.
She is survived by her son, Danny Bolch; daughters, Rafe Ann DuBois, Mary Beth Crain; grandchildren, Bethany Sebesta, Channing Sorey, Madeline Stone, Brayden Bolch, Brooklyn Bolch, Rafe Crain; and great-grandchildren, Brighton and George.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jason Pitts, Charlie Brookins, Stan Green, Rudy Douglas, Matt Moses and Rex Moses.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, loyal friend, and proud steward of her family's legacy. Her memory lives on in all who knew and loved her.
