She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 48 years and served faithfully in various church callings including many primary assignments, Relief Society President, Young Women's President, visiting teaching assignments, Family History consultants. She also served as a Temple worker in the Dallas Texas Temple with her husband.
While she held a few occupations during her lifetime, she was, first, a wife, a homemaker, a mom, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She embraced spoiling them all. That was her career.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Neal Bazor, of 55 years. They were married on May 16, 1970 in Crossroads, Mississippi. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on Nov 14, 1978 for time and eternity.
She is, also, survived by her 4 children, Kenneth Bennie Bazor & his wife, Melissa Bazor, Jennifer Kaye Bazor, Tracie Lynette Bazor Sokolowski, and Timothy Edward Bazor & his wife, Marcie Bazor, 8 grandchildren, Christopher Bazor, KayeLynn Nichole Bazor Cheney, her Husband, Chris Cheney, Melanie Sokolowski Mulkey, her husband, Cole Mulkey, Jonathan Sokolowski and his wife, Jasmine Sokolowski, Mathew Sokolowski, Kolby Sokolowski, Charli Bazor, Stacy Bazor, and 6 Great-Grandchildren, Branson Bazor Cheney, Georgia Binder, Jasper Cheney, Eliot Cheney, Ivy Sokolowski, and Kiai Mulkey, and 2 Sister-in-laws, Sheila Kaye Sullivan, and her husband David Sullivan, and Janise Gay Davis, and her husband Jerry Davis, multiple nieces, nephews, including Dee Odom, and Janet Baughman.
There will be a viewing at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home at 5100 Interstate 30, Greenville, Tx 75402 on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 5309 Utah St., in Greenville, on April 18, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. Bishop Jimmy Willis will be conducting. Concluding the service, we will proceed to the Wieland Cemetery on FM 2101 for burial.
Pallbearers will be her 4 grandsons, Christopher Bazor, Jonathan Sokolowski, Mathew Sokolowski, Kolby Sokolowski, & 2 grandson in-laws, Chris Cheney & Cole Mulkey. Honorary pallbearer will be Branson Bazor Cheney.
