Jackie was born on December 29, 1943 in Greenville, Texas to Willie Valentine Isham and Birdie Jane Stevens. He married Lacychante' Spruill on December 17, 1981 in Grayson County, Texas. He graduated from Lone Oak High School, where he went to school his entire childhood. He was Veteran of the United States Army and served proudly in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966. He retired from Lance as a truck driver. He was a proud husband and father, loved his family and community.
He is survived by his wife, Lacychante' Isham; sons, Jackie Martin Isham, Jr., Michael J. Smith, Marcus E. Louque, David P. Baber and Darwin C. Boyd; daughter, Sherri Selter; sister, Lilly Juanita Sandlin; sister-in-law, Karen Isham; grandchildren, Micah Louque, Jeffery Cones, Joshua Conde, Shelby Boyd, Sydney Boyd, William Albrecht, and Xander Albrecht; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Boyd, parents, sister, Janice K. White, Judy Pippin, Margaret Samples; brothers, Buddy Isham, Everett Isham, Ivan Isham, Bobby Isham; brother-in-law, Charles Pippin, Jerry Sandlin, and Luther Samples.
Pallbearers will be Jack Isham, Jr., Michael J. Smith, Joe Neal McCandless, D.J. White, Marcus Louque and Ronnie Samples.
Our sorrow is not for him but for ourselves as he is now in the presence of God Almighty and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
