Steven was born May 1, 1973, in Dallas, to his parents Earl Turner and Cindy Mahaffey. He owned and operated Quality Contracting Services, where he poured his heart into his work and built a reputation for his incredible talent in remodeling homes. Steven had a true gift for construction and took great pride in helping bring new life to homes through his craftsmanship and dedication.
Steven loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, riding ATVs, and spending time with his dogs. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family and friends. He was especially proud of his daughters and grandchildren, who were the center of his world and brought him immense joy. Steven will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, generous heart, and the love he had for those closest to him.
He is survived by his daughters, Ashlee Wright and husband, Justin, and Alisha Litchfield and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Peyton Wright, Rylee Wright, Quinn Wright, Adalyn Litchfield, and Truett Litchfield; his companion, Lori Cooley and her son, Zander; and many loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his best friend, Freddy Samaniego.
