Curtis Earl Karr

Curtis Earl Karr, 87, of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Curtis was born on June 6, 1938, in Seymour, Texas, to W. J. and Jennie Tucker Karr. He married Shannon Lee Posey on June 5, 1960, in Denton, Texas. Curtis worked as a building contractor and attended First Christian Church of Rockwall.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Lee Posey Karr; his sons, Steven A. Karr (Wendy) of Pilot Point, Texas, C. Stanton Karr (Debbie) of Haleyville, Alabama, and Sidney J. Karr (Robert) of Pilot Point, Texas; his brother, James C. Karr (Cherri) of Whitney, Texas; sisters-in-law, Betty Karr of Seymour, Texas, MaryAnn Karr of Pontotoc, Mississippi, and Deborah Thorne (Burrell) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his grandchildren, Lacy Abbott (James) and Blake Karr (Leanna) of Haleyville, Alabama, Sidney Karr (Jessica) of Royse City, Texas, Riley Karr of Denver, Colorado, Michael O'Reilly (Jennie) of Grapevine, Texas, Brendan O'Reilly of Houston, Texas, and Ryan O'Reilly of Greenville, South Carolina; and his great-granddaughters, Ashlynn and Lillian Abbott.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Gerald Karr and Ronnie Karr; and his grandson, Steven Curtis ''Curt'' Karr.
