Charles was born on March 20, 1945 in Royse City, Texas, to Otha Floy Rhodes and Zula Mae Vining. He married Carolyn Ann Warren on August 21, 1964 in Celeste, Texas, she preceded him in death on November 28, 2023. He married Cheryl Darlene Davis on July 12, 2025 in Wolfe City, Texas. He was a retired teacher, motivational speaker, and rancher.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Davis; son, Kyle Rhodes and wife, Rebecca; daughter, Robin Mote and husband, Chris; grandchildren, William (Bill) Rhodes, Jacqueline Mote, Travis Mote and wife, Jennifer, and Casey Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Rhodes, Jacqueline Mote, Travis Mote, Casey Rhodes, Bill Rhodes, and Jacques Hawkins.
