Steven was born on December 31, 1960 in Commerce, Texas to Billy Ray and Glenda Helton. In life, he was a plumber, a profession he loved because he was able to help others.
He leaves his devoted and loving wife, Donna; children and their children, Ariel Helton and her kids, Keyden, Davian, Ahnyla; Brandi Walker (Dee) and her kids, Shyla, Deriyah, and Braxton; Sarah Grounds (Nathan); sisters, Sheila Gammon, Kathy Thomas Killian (James), and Nannette Helton; great-grandson, Kyrie. He was loved by his nephews, Kevin Gammon (Amanda), Cody Gammon (Misty) and Sammy Ray Thomas (Shalea); nieces and nephews, Brianna, Shelby, Colt, Case, Zach, Allana, Triston, Samantha, Jolie, Hope and Chance; along with their spouses, Chris, Seth, Troie and Cole.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray and Glenda Helton; father-in-law, Melton Owen; nephew, Cole Gammon; Sheilas' fiancé, Vic Massay; and Donna's son, David Kirkland.
