Jerrell Stanley Casstevens, 79, passed from this world into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 28, 2025.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Known to his friends as Cass, he was born on February 28, 1946, in Fort Worth, Texas. Cass was the third of four children born to Marion Stanley Casstevens and Helen Rodgers Casstevens. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1964 and attended East Texas State University. In his youth, Jerrell was heavily involved in operating the family farm, where he and his brothers frequently repaired farm equipment, modified machinery to improve efficiency, or simply invented gadgets to entertain themselves. Cass had a passion for business, particularly in sales. Ultimately, he founded Cass Motors, which he operated for approximately 30 years.
After selling his business, Jerrell lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he attended Rock Creek Church and actively participated in a men's bible study. Later in life, Cass returned to his roots in Texas, where he loved playing golf and sharing laughs with friends at The Shores' country club in Rockwall, Texas.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Casstevens Daniel (John); his son, Jason Casstevens; six grandchildren: Alex Daniel (Brandi), Regan Daniel Bubak (Nate), Cole Daniel (Tiara), Cade Daniel, Sailor Casstevens, and Margot Casstevens; and two great-grandchildren: Ella Kate Daniel and Vivian Ray Bubak. He also leaves behind siblings J.M. Casstevens (Billie), Susan Casstevens Graham (Calvin), and numerous nieces whom he loved.

Jerrell was always helpful to me when I needed car parts when he was located in Greenville. We both discovered we both at some point and time worked for the same person Ralph Parker in Quality back in the LTV, E -systems days. Mrs. Casstevens taught my grandchildren in Greenville. Sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family.
