Lyndal LeeDrummond

Lyndal Lee Drummond, 70, of Lone Oak passed away February 28, 2012 at Hunt Regional Medical Center.  Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Atkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Hooker Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Lyndal was born June 29, 1941 in Hampton, Arkansas to Hazel and Viola (Robinson) Drummond.  On March 13, 1976, he married Carolyn Weatherly in Dallas.  He was a retired engineer and plant manager for Rock Tenn.  Lyndal was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. 

His survivors include his wife of Lone Oak; sons Micheal Scott Drummond of Forney and Dustin Dewyain Drummond and Donny Lynn Drummond both of Lone Oak; brothers Jerry Dale Drummond of Eldorado, Arkansas, Ronnie Drummond of Shreveport, and Danny Drummond of Houston; sisters Rita Ann Hyer of Lafayette, Indiana and Reba Porter of Sandy Hook, Mississippi; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
