Charles Edward McKenzie

Charles Edward McKenzie, 78, of Greenville, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Greenville Health and Rehab Center.  Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Roger Ratliff will officiate.  Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. McKenzie was born in Wolfe City, Texas on October 22, 1933.  He was the son of William McKenzie and Viola Bell McClendon McKenzie.  He was a house leveler.

Survivors include his sister, Gennie Colbert of Greenville; brother, Don McKenzie of Caddo Mills; nieces and nephews, Betty and Tim Mackey, LaVerne and Rick Hoff, Shirley and Sam Salvage, Robert and April McKenzie, Danny McKenzie, Greg and Michelle McKenzie, Gary and Lisa Light and Sheila McKenzie; several great-nieces and nephews including Monica Ragsdale, Avona Mackey and Jami Joslin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bobby Joe McKenzie and Dan McKenzie.

Pallbearers will be Tim Mackey, Rick Hoff, Sam Salvage, Lee Ragsdale, Robert McKenzie, Danny McKenzie and Tyler Ragsdale.
