Arie "Bob" Hart, 84, of Garland, died in Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wylie on Thursday, January 31, 2008. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 3, 2008, in Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Randy Rather officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to service time on Sunday.
Mr. Hart was born in Farmersville, Texas on November 11, 1923, the son of Arie Hart, Sr. and Stella Killian. He was a World War II Army veteran and a Baptist. He was a retired optician.
Surviving are his son, Michael Hart of Wylie; daughter, Pamela Hart of Dallas; Grandchildren, Wendy Hart of Wylie and Andrew Hart of Wylie; great-grandchildren, Ashton Hart and Brinley Hart, both of Wylie; and former wife, Billie Pearce Hart of Garland. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
