Kitty Philpot Shaw
Kitty Philpot Shaw, 99, of Greenville, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, in Royse City Health & Rehab. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Memoryland Memorial Park with Dr. Kelly Carr officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shaw was born in Greenville on August 16, 1913. She was the daughter of Sidney Gaines Philpot and Celia Ann Carlock Philpot. She was married to T. B. Shaw who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her son, Travis Shaw of Greenville; granddaughters, Natalie Shaw of Greenville, Debra Shaw of Arlington and Vicki Jean Powell of Sherman; great-grandchildren, Kristina Herring, Amy Lamb, Nicholas Shaw and Jonathan Shirley; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny B. Shaw.
