"Myra and family:

Bill and I had many great times together at Grayson College, both as instructors at that time. We were not only friends but farmers at heart, so we had a lot in common. So sorry to hear of his passing, but know that he enjoyed every day in the classroom for many, many years. There are many more educated American citizens because of Bill Terrell. I am giving a memorial gift to the Grayson College Foundation in his memory."

"Dearest Myra
I was shocked when I opened the Herald Democrat yesterday and saw the obit for Mr. Terrill. Tears filled my eyes. He was such a gentle giant with a funny story to tell and a personality and laugh that would light up the Government classroom at GCC. I think a lot of the time he laughed at his own jokes.I learned so much from him and the knowledge he instilled is still remembered to this day. A double bonus was getting to know you when working in the Library. You two were such a sweet couple and I know you will miss him terribly. If I did not already have a comittment for tomorrow I would be at the service. You and your boys and the entire Terrill family are in my prayers. Love.......

Debbie Herndon Nance"

"I had Mr. Terrell for my Texas Gonernment instructor many years ago St Grayson Co. College. I never liked any Social Study courses until I had him. The best teacher I ever had in any subject. I still remember many of the stories he told about his beloved East Texas!! He loved his job and his students and loved talking about Texas and his past. I still talk affectionately about him to anyone who will listen. RIP my friend and be at peace knowing the lives you have touched are bettr for having known you, if just for a short time!!"
