Mildred M.Corman

On February 4, 2013, our beloved mother, Mildred Corman, went to be with the Lord.  She was born October 29, 1924 in Josephine, Texas to Jesse and Lola Petty.  On August 26, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Hugh Corman.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hugh “Smokey” Corman, her parents, 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by 8 children, Brenda Moore of Sanger, Texas; David Gibbs and wife Sue of Quinlan, Texas; Carolyn Odom of Point, Texas; Sue Harper and husband Gary of Denton, Texas; Martin Gibbs and wife Cathy of Quinlan, Texas; LuJuana Kegel of Point, Texas; Montra Land and husband Phillip of Point, Texas; and Don Gibbs and wife Kelli of Pilot Point, Texas.

She was greatly loved and adored by her 25 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 12:30 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.  Burial will follow Wednesday at 4:00 PM at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas along side her beloved husband, Smokey.

Pallbearers will be Gordon McQuien, Lee Brooks, Davy Gibbs, Michael Gibbs, Greg McQuien, Brandon Gibbs, and Glen McQuien.
