Danny Hearn, 86 of La Mesa, California, formerly of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Kavanaugh United Methodist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.  Rev. Stephen Cotten will be officiating. 

Danny was born in Paris, Texas on April 13, 1926 to Titus Leroy and Jewel Sheldon Hearn.  Danny served his country with the U. S. Navy.  He worked for LTV Aerospace, which is now L-3 Communications, where he rose to Vice President and General Manager.

He is survived by his sons, David Dewitt Hearn of Houston, Don Hearn of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, John Hearn, Josh Hearn, and Dinah Hearn.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, J. Dell Harp who passed away in 1979.
