Inez was born June 9, 1923 in Olney, Texas to Henry Lee and Vera Chaney Armstrong. She was the oldest of four children and grew up in and around Roby and Sylvester, Texas.

Inez married John H. Bragg in Roby on May 10, 1941. During World War II she and John lived in Odessa, then California and Utah as he worked in Civil Service at shipyards and military bases. Inez was a devoted wife and mother and was always there for her family and friends.

Inez and John raised their children in Midland where they were members of Kelview Heights Baptist Church. They were married 49 years when John died June 24, 1988 in Midland. She had a wonderful second marriage and life when she wed James B. Willis, Jr. June 17, 1991 and lived near Poteet until his death April 28, 2002. She then moved to Greenville to be near her daughters.

Inez is survived by her children Phyllis Van Dyke and husband Charlie of Van Alstyne, Jeanette Moser and husband Ralph of Greenville, Johnny Bragg and wife Polly of Midland, along with her wonderfully loved grandchildren Teri (Mike) Taylor of Salado, Jeff (Elizabeth) Smith of Van Alstyne, Jason (Lacy) Bragg and Michael Bragg of Midland and Chris (Traci) Moser of Lone Oak and eight great-grandchildren. Survivors also include her brother, J. W. Armstrong of Amarillo and sister, Lavell Wallace of Aztec, NM. Inez was excitedly awaiting the birth of her twin great-great grandsons due in March.

Preceding her in death were her husbands John Bragg and James Willis, Jr., her parents and sister, Bessie Lee Pugh.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Jeff Smith, Jason Bragg, Michael Bragg, great-grandsons Sean Taylor and Nathan Smith and family friend Jerry Dunn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
