Jesse Lee Carterf, Jr.
Jesse Lee Carter, Jr., 84, of Greenville, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Carter was born in Lone Oak, Texas on May 10, 1928. He was the son of Jesse Lee Carter, Sr. and Virgie Britt. He married Shirley Inez Spurlock on December 5, 1953. He was a retired custodian for the Greenville Independent School District and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Jeanette Roach of Greenville and son, Bobby Carter of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a son, Glynn Carter; daughter, Gloria Bailey; and granddaughter, Melinda Carter.
