Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hawbaker officiating.   Burial will follow at Memoryland Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born Wanda La Nelle Fuller on July 15, 1930 to Edwin Fuller and Glenna Conyers Fuller in Annona, Texas.  She spent her childhood in Annona and Tyler and graduated from John Tyler High School.  She married James Edgerton in 1954 and together they had three children.  She lived in several different states during their marriage, but never lost a yearning for her East Texas roots, finally settling in Greenville in 1972.  She married Charles Wilkison on December 4, 1982 and added a step-son and his family to the fold.  She and Charles were married until his death in November 1999.

Wanda was one of the first employees hired by Wing Industries when they opened their Greenville plant in 1973 and she continued working there until her retirement in 1993.

Wanda was a faithful member of Reavilon Baptist Church until her health limited her ability to attend.

She was a strong Christian and never missed an opportunity to witness to others.  Her happiest moments were when she was taking care of others and spending time with her grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Denise Edgerton Taylor and husband Billy; son Larry Edgerton; and step-son Kyle Wilkison and wife Debra; grandchildren Blake Taylor, Zakary Edgerton, Ashley Edgerton-Hailey, Mitch Leathers and Jenny Padgett and 5 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, Billy Fuller; sisters Melba Lynch and Ann Hawbaker; and several nieces and nephews who were all very dear to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Wilkison, a daughter Debbi Ann Edgerton and a brother, James Fuller.

Serving as pall bearers are Blake Taylor, Zakary Edgerton, Kevin Hawbaker, Dale Hawbaker, Kyle Wilkison and Mitch Leathers.  Honorary pall bearers are Clay Fuller, Billy Wayne Fuller and Larry Fuller.

The family asks that memorials be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association in lieu of flowers.

"I am very sorry to hear about Wanda's passing. We were first cousins. I was born in Annona. My dad was Everett Fuller.
We cousins always had a good time growing up."

"Denise,

Words are so woefully inadequate at a time like this. Still, I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing your mother is a milestone like none other in life. I know we haven’t seen each other since we were children, Denise. But I’ve walked the road that waits for you. And because of that, it doesn’t matter to me if I last saw you yesterday or if it was 40 years ago—I’ll be thinking of you and what lies ahead of you. And I’ll be wishing you peace for every step of the way.
