"My thoughts & prayers go out to Jerry's family and friends during this sad time. I graduated high school with his brother & sister ( Jack & Leona) and have precious memories of our school years together."

"I am sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I lived South of Wolfe City when I was young and spent many days with Jerry and Donny. Jerry was always so funny, he kept me laughing all the time. He introduced me to the "corn cob fight" Jerry said "stand up when I say so" . So. when I stood up he hit me up side the head with a corn cob. I'll always remember my youth and those days back in Texas. R.I.P. my friend.

"When I found out about Jerry's passing, I broke down crying. As a high schooler, he was the go-to man for starting camp fires, checking fishing lines, and making sure all of us kids were ok. I'll always have terrific memories of him. He would let us be kids, joke around and play with us, and still look out for us.
Even though we weren't related, I still think of him as my uncle.

I'll miss you, Jerry, and will always think about the fun times you provided when I was a kid!!!

The Lord has the opportunity now to enjoy your direct company!!! Prayers for your family in this hard time.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said "It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them".
Rest in peace my old friend....
Michael"
