Paul K. McCaslin, 84 of Nevada, passed away on November 27, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson Cemetery with Rev. Scott Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 noon until service time. Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Paul was born February 28, 1929 in Shidler, Oklahoma to George and Pearl Henderson McCaslin.
He served his country by serving in the US Army Air Force during World War II. He worked as a photo engraver and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Paul is survived by his sons, Dr. Pat McCaslin and wife Claire of Madisonville, LA, Roger McCaslin of Stigler, OK; daughters, Viki Mitchell and husband Buddy of Greenville, Kara Carter and husband Richard of Kinta, OK; sisters, Avonelle Findley of Ft. Worth, Delores Belyeu of Hobbs, NM; grandchildren, Scott Mitchell and wife Bonnie, Kyle Mitchell, Christopher McCaslin and wife Dawn, Megan Varnado and husband Johnathan, Eric McCaslin, Isaac McCaslin, Jeremy McCaslin, Kerri Bloom and husband Jeff, Megan Keen; great-grandchildren, Taelor, Maya, and Lailani McCaslin, Lucy and Eli Mitchell, Oliver, McKensie, and Adrian Varnado, Davis Bloom; 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mitchell, Kyle Mitchell, Christopher McCaslin, Eric McCaslin, Isaac McCaslin, and Jeremy McCaslin.
