"Dear family, I am so sorry for your loss. Winnie was a wonderful lady, always kind to those around her. When Jerry and I moved into our home, she brought me a mixing bowl, I still use. The day she brought it, I had locked myself out of the house. Winnie went home (which is just down the road) and brought Rush with her. Rush removed a glass pane from a rear window so I could crawl through and unlock the door. I loved and miss them. God Bless, Sue"

"Winnie joined the Steen Family when I was 9 years old the year that she married my Uncle Rush. I remember all of the good times and all of the fun that we had at Granny and
Papa Steen's home. She was a wonderful lady, we all loved her and she will be greatly missed by all of us."
