Harrell Sandlin, 75, of Greenville passed away May 3, 2014 at Briarcliff Health Center. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Randy Daw officiating. Interment will follow at Wieland Cemetery.
Born January 11, 1939 in the Wieland Community of Hunt County, Harrell was the son of Duward Shelby and Inez (Strickland) Sandlin. On August 29, 1959 in Lone Oak, he married Anna Sue Chapman. He was a retired truck driver and retail grocer. He was a member of the Wieland Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Anna of Greenville; sons Perry Dewayne Sandlin and wife Laura of Greenville and Charles Brent Sandlin and wife Gail of Greenville; brother Lenon K. Sandlin of Greenville; sister Carol Ann Wallace of Commerce; and grandchildren Tim Phillips, John Phillips, Melissa Phillips, Brandon Sandlin, Alan Sandlin, and Paige Sandlin.
His parents preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Don Angell, David Moore, John Phillips, Alan Sandlin, Brandon Sandlin, and Monty White.
