Dorothy Katherine Renfro, Age 86, of Greenville passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Greencrest Manor. Services will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 2:00 PM at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. Randy Rather officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
Mrs. Renfro was born on December 2, 1921 in Hillsboro, Texas to Thornton and Effie Woods King.
On June 24, 1958, she married R. L. Renfro in Greenville. She was a retired telephone operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her sister-in-law, Carmen Foti and husband, Chuck of Greenville; a nephew, Max Herron and wife, Kay of Sulphur Springs; a niece, Kathy Dempsey and husband, Jerry of Largo, Florida; a niece, Kalleen Hatchkiss and husband, Rick of Goodrich, Michigan; and a great-nephew, Zach Herron of Sulphur Springs, Texas,
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. L. Renfro in 1994; Parents; Brother, Thornton King, Jr.; sister-in-law, Betty Jean King; and nephews, Roger Herron and Dickie Herron.
