Maggie Nell Bishop, Age 75, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2008 in Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Reagan officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home on Monday.
Mrs. Bishop was born on February 12, 1933 in Greenville, Texas to Bill and Ethel Grantham Adams. On April 24, 1954 she married Harrison James Bishop in Greenville. She was a homemaker and a member of North Baptist Church.
She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, James Earl and Valerie Bishop of Cash, Ronnie Dale and Teresa Bishop of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Danny Ray and Rebecca Bishop of Greenville, Terry Wayne and Cynthia Bishop of Greenville, and Jerry Don and Victoria Bishop of Bethel Heights, Arkansas; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Art Stephan of Greenville and Norma Jean and Wesley Moore of Greenville; a brother, Jay Norris of Greenville; two sisters, Mary Norris and Peggy Jean Gilmore both of Greenville; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Kathy Lynn Bishop; granddaughter, Traci Lynn Bishop; and one brother, Billy Joe Bishop.
Pallbearers are Terry Bishop, Jr., Brad May, Jerry Ward, Phillip Bishop, Danny Woods, and Art Stephan. Honorary Pallbearer is Brandon McGinnis.
