"Stephanie and Shelly (and Stephen)--I have been thinking of your mom since Stephanie called and left me the message of her passing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Doris. She was truly an exemplary human being and Christian. So kind and generous--and sweet-natured. I loved working with her on our humane society issues and she was always there with a big heart and support. She adored her family and I feel as if I know all of them! I am disappointed I was unable to attend her Memorial Service, but rest assured your legacy is rich. God Bless All of You and especially Stephen."
