"Steve & Kathy, and Family:

We were saddened to learn of sweet Dorty's passing. She was a very giving woman and I know how much her kids and grandkids loved her! She always welcomed us into her home and treated us like family. I will never forget her generosity in giving me a typewriter for my small business. I used it for years! Time passes by and things change, but we will always remember "Dorty & PawPaw." God bless you and your family; we love y'all."

"I remember your mom when my aunt (Evelyn Parmely Ragan) was best friends with her. I was a Parmely before marriage. Always heard positive, great things about her. So glad you had her for so many years."

"I knew your mom through my mother, Evelyn (Parmely) Ragan. Dorothy was a really neat lady. I believe that she and Mom had a special relationship back in the day. I have tons of scanned photos (circa WWII era) of Dorothy, mom and all their Greenviille friends (even high school) and would gladly share them if you will e-mail me sometime.

Ron Ragan"
