Ella Louise Scott
Ella Louise Scott, 91, of Greenville, died Thursday, April 2, 2015. She will be buried next to her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
Born in Terre Haute, Indiana on March 19, 1924, she was the daughter of Elijah Ferran and Hyla Edwards Ferran. On September 2, 1944, she married Howard Eugene Scott in Terra Haute, Indiana. She was a homemaker, a Pink Lady at the hospital for 18 yrears and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Scott was a long time member of Central Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Hyla Dean of Mesquite and Beverly Gilliam and husband, Gary of Wolfe City; sister, Betty Sauter of Indianapolis, Indiana; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, one sister and one brother.
