Rose Marie Reeves, 86, of Greenville passed away May 27, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Park Street Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Hailes and Mr. Don Coppinger officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born December 5, 1928 in Greenville, Rose Marie was the daughter of John and Pauline (Glass) Coppinger. On July 16, 1948 in Dallas, she married Pete Reeves who preceded her in death. Rose Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Her survivors include her daughter Brenda Linton and husband, Jack of Celeste; sons Stephen Reeves and wife Kim of Greenville and Terry Reeves of Greenville; sister Ramona Welborne of Arlington; grandchildren Misty McMullen and husband, James of Alvord, Kimberli Mason of Dallas, Lindsay Walker and husband Derek of Celeste, Kent Reeves and wife Leslie of The Woodlands, and Jamison Reeves of Greenville; and great-grandchildren Mariah Knight, Kloe Walker, Trent Clem, Paris Walker, Presley Reeves, and Charlee Kay Reeves.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Tracey Reeves, brother John Roy Coppinger, infant brother, sister Wanda Higdon, and grandson Tristan Reeves.
Pallbearers will be Kent Reeves, Jamison Reeves, Gerald Castle, Jevin Jackson, Robbie Welborne, Jack Linton and Wayne McHenry.
