Frances Ruth Evelyn Denton, 93, of Greenville, passed away on July 12, 2015 at Briarcliff Health Center. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Rogike Britton officiating. Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born in Greenville, Texas on March 4, 1922 to Clyde and Ira Mettie Mahand Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Judy Ellis and husband, David; daughter-in-law, Jana Fulfer; nephew, Billy Wes Daniels and wife, Frances; grandchildren, Jeanie Putman and husband, Kevin, Jenifer Hyatt and husband, Eric, Laura Kelley and husband, Dustin, Emily Stephens and husband, Curt; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Ellis, Paul Gearhart, Bob Jackson, Johnny Martinez, Kevin Putman, and Kurtis Putman.
