Mary Yvonne McCrary
Mary Yvonne McCrary, 79, of Farmersville, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at Medical Center of McKinney. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Waitschies officiating. Interment will follow in Merit Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. McCrary was born on January 9, 1936 in Greenville. She was the daughter of Alton M. Childers and Ila Mae Poe Childers. She married James Lavern McCrary on July 6, 1955 in Greenville. She was retired from Rockwell International in Quality Control for 38 years. Mrs. McCrary was a member of First United Methodist Church in Farmersville.
Survivors include her son, James Lynn McCrary and wife, Karyn of Farmersville; sisters, Lou Walding and husband, H. M., Aletta Maxine Miller and husband, Harold and Pamela Sue Bench and husband, Larry, all of Greenville; granddaughter, Taylor Johnson and husband, Austin; grandson, Chance McCrary; and great-grandson, Landon Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Leon Childers, Kenneth Childers and Jerry Don Childers.
Pallbearers will be Don Sims, DeWayne Sims, Johnny Todd, David Grobe, Mell Grobe and John Lloyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Taylor and Johnny Bratcher.
