Virgil Roy Bullard
Virgil Roy Bullard, 89, of Greenville, formerly of Pittsburg, Texas, died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Piney Grove Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jay Sikes will officiate. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time, Tuesday, at the church.
Mr. Bullard was born in Seagraves, Texas on June 9, 1926. He was the son of John Bullard and Mamie Carson Bullard. He married Juanita Faye Nelson on April 27, 1946 in Pittsburg. He was retired from Continental Emsco in Garland. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Donald Ray Bullard and wife, Kathy; brother, Andrew Bullard; sisters, Doris Smith, Juanita Dikes and Mary Frances Nicholson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2010.
Pallbearers will be Lance Banks, Jeff Maack, Terry Wooten, Rodney Spradling, Dak Guyton and Kyle Thomason.
