Thelma Esther Giles Henry
Thelma Esther Giles Henry, 104, was born October 6, 1910 in Trinidad, Colorado and passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 in Mesquite, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents Anna Mae Major Giles and Charles Frederick Giles, husband, J. B. Henry, two brothers and three sisters, one niece and one nephew.
Thelma was a lifelong member of the Nazarene Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Myrlene and Dwaine Basham; granddaughter Karen Easley and husband, Robert; grandson, Mike Basham; two great-granddaughters, Lauren Stockman and husband Blane and Melissa Easley; four great-great-grandchildren, Landon 12, Addison 6, Rylee 17 months and Kinley 9 months; and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM, Monday, August 31, 2015 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Memoryland Memorial Park.
