Marie Vaughn
Ada Marie Vaughn, 90, of Greenville, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at Tendercare in Greenville. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Chaffin officiating. Interment will be in Caney Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vaughn was born in Campbell, Texas on August 15, 1925. She was the daughter of George W. Bonham and Minnie Chaffin Bonham. She was a retired math teacher with Greenville Independent School District and a member of Caney Methodist Church. She married James E. Vaughn on November 30, 1946 in Greenville.
Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Lynn Stovall and husband, Larry of Greenville; sons, Jimmy Duane Vaughn and wife, Donna of Fulshear, Texas and G. E. Vaughn and wife, Janis of Greenville; grandchildren, Jeri Davis, Brian Stovall, Jennifer Vaughn-Villanueva, Ryan Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Matthew Vaughn and Kevin Vaughn; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Ryan Vaughn, Brian Stovall, Nathan Smith and Leo Villanueva.
