Freda Frances Reeves Gooch, 84, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Greenville, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Hot Springs. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Memoryland Memorial Park under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Kimberlin will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gooch was born in Hunt County, Texas on June 22, 1931. She was the daughter of W. B. Reeves and Dora Cobb Reeves. She married W. D. Gooch on October 10, 1952 in Greenville. She was a member of Unity Full Gospel Church in Hot Springs and a former member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughters, Lori McCathrin and husband, David of Lavon and Lisa Gooch of Denton; sisters, Mary Harwell of Sugarland and Estelle Prince of Plano; grandson, Will Harrell and wife, Haley; great-grandson, Micah Harrell; great-granddaughter, Sophie Harrell; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Louise Reeves Money, Lucille Reeves Colbert, Bernice Reeves Castle; and brothers Claude Wilton Reeves and W. B. (Pete) Reeves.
