Jerrell F. Wright
Jerrell Franklin Wright, 85, of Greenville, formerly of Mesquite, died Monday, February 22, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kelly Carr officiating. Military honors will be done by the Fort Hood Honor Guard. Visitation will be 12 Noon until service time Friday.
Mr. Wright was born in Hamilton, Texas on November 24, 1930. He was the son of Armon Alvis Wright and Estelle White Wright. He married Margaret Strohner on September 8, 1958 in Knackenbeim, Germany. He was a retired Sergeant Major in the U. S. Army and formerly owned convenience, diet center, health spa and liquor stores.
Survivors include his son, John Wright and wife, Ela; granddaughter, Varinna Rae Wright; brothers, James Wright and family and Elmer "Tommy" Wright and family; sister, Lorraine Tatum and family; long time friend, Dudley King; long time therapist, Cody Mauldin; and caregivers, Tami Middleton and Shannon Bock. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Frank Wright.
