JoAnn Vivian Patterson, 83, of Campbell, passed away on May 28, 2016 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will follow at Brigham Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. until service time on at the funeral home.
JoAnn was born on May 11, 1933 in Celeste, Texas to Lee and Nannie Sumrow Fugitt. She married Shirley “Pat” Patterson on December 17, 1965 in Royse City, Texas. She owned Patterson Upholstery and worked as a seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Pat Patterson of Campbell; sons, Johnny Dale Fugitt and wife, Vickie, Jimmy Lee Halbert and wife, Nancy, Stephen Lynn Allard and fiancé, Tammy Soto; daughter, Tina Jo Patterson Tidwell; daughter-in-law, Dosky Allard; sister, Mary Francis Fugitt Carter; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Fugitt, Jerry Fugitt; and sister, Betty Nan Wrinkle.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Allard, Stephen Allard, Johnny Fugitt, Jr., Heath Halbert, Jimmy Halbert, and Bryan Tidwell.
