Dorothy Reeves
Dorothy Frances Reeves, 82, of Greenville, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM at Tidwell Cemetery with Rev. Roy Youngblood officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reeves was born in Greenville on October 10, 1933. She was the daughter of Ed Sheltman and Sybil Cross Sheltman. On July 3, 1952, she married J. W. Reeves in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, J. W. Reeves of Greenville; sons, J. W. Reeves, Jr. and wife, Sheryl of Greenville and Eddie Reeves of Greenville; sister, Billie Myrick and husband, Robert of Greenville; grandsons, Corey Reeves and wife, Rebecca of Greenville and Colby Reeves and wife, Candice of Greenville; niece, Cindy Small of Dallas; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Corey Reeves, Colby Reeves, Johnny Jarosek, Ray Guzman, Walter Williams and Mike Miles. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Jones, Doyle Currin and Robert Myrick.
