Gracie June Vice, 79 of Nevada, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 A.M., Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vice was born on June 10, 1937 in Emory, Texas to Burl Vice and Gracie Bloyed. She was retired from the City of Dallas Health Department and Police Department. She was a member of the Lavon Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Chad Vice and wife, Veronica of Nevada, brother, Preston Vice, sisters, Dorothy Wilson, Evelyn Bean and Yvonne Walker, grandchildren, Casey Vice, Jordan Vice and Justin Vice.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rose Lee Adkins, brother, Truett Vice and brother, Burl Vice, Jr.
