Dorothy Reisor Owens, 84 of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Legend Healthcare in Greenville. A graveside service is scheduled for 1 P.M., Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Memoryland Memorial Park under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Owens was born in Greenville, Texas on December 21, 1931 to Bert Reisor and Geneva Prince. She married H.M. “Jack” Owens on September 2, 1954 in Greenville, Texas. She retired in 1993 as the Director of Medical Records for Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Mike Owens and wife, Tara of Dallas, sister, Joyce Tucker of Greenville, grandchildren, Chris Owens and wife, Leda of Rockwall, Ashley Goodwin and husband, Phil of Providence Village, Stefanie Pugh and husband, Jeremy of Royse City, Dereck Owens of Greenville, Lauren Calderilla of Royse City and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Owens, son, Harry M. Owens, Jr. and sister, Glenda Causey.
Pallbearers will be Chris Owens, Phil Goodwin, Jeremy Pugh, Dereck Owens, Jerry Owens and Glenn Wilson.
