"XO, although your time with us was cut short it was a memorable and impactful.
Your presence, your demeanor was felt throughout. When you beckoned "ATTENTION" or "EARS" you had everyone's undivided attention. Your command voice, your stature was and is immeasurable. Your compassion, honesty, hard work, and motivation are second to none. When you spoke others listened. You were that cadet, that student that every teacher wanted in their class and every coach wanted on their team. You never gave up as you strived for perfection.
It was an honor meeting and knowing you. So I say not goodbye but farewell. Fair winds and following seas.
