Frances Deaton
Frances Addean Deaton, 84, of Greenville, died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Reunion Plaza Senior Care Center, Tyler. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Joe Deaton officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Deaton was born July 4, 1932 in Lone Oak, Texas. She was the daughter of Joe Johnson and Ida Hargis Johnson. She was married to Bill Deaton, who preceded her in death. She was retired from Texas Instruments.
Survivors include her sons, Tom Buchanan and wife, Lynne, Jimmy Buchanan and wife, Deborah, John Deaton and wife, Linda and step-son, Billy Joe Deaton and wife, Eileen; daughter, Joy Denault and husband, Gary; step-daughter, Cindy Lusk and husband, Mickey; brother, Jimmy Johnson and wife, Mary; sister, Dell Stephens and husband, Gene; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Kim Arredondo; step-sons, Jackie Deaton and Jerry Deaton; brother, Billy Joe Johnson; and sisters, Fran and Ruby Nell Johnson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Cody Buchanan, Asa Buchanan, Kevin Buchanan, James Buchanan, Ross Van Huss and nephew, Scott Smith.
