Susan Paulette Gunia, 52 of Point, passed away at Baylor Hospital of Dallas. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul McMerrell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in Donelton Cemetery.
Susan was born on October 3, 1964 in Evurex-Fauvile, France to Charles Gunia and Dorothy Boykin. She was a member of Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Gunia of Point, brothers, Raymon Gunia of Greenville and Michael Gunia and wife, Rafa of East Tawakoni and sisters, Boonchu Garrett and husband, Brett of Miller Grove, Anchalee Miller and husband, Larry of Lone Oak and Penny Gunia of West Tawakoni, nieces and nephews, Shandell Sixberry, Daniell Garrett, Kayla Rosenthal, Matthew Rosenthal, Sarah Vaughn, Courtney McRight, Ashley Gunia, Karina Alvarado, Trevor Miller, Chole Miller, Paul Singleton, Angel Lopez and Noah Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Christina Gunia.
