Myrtle Elizabeth Morgan, 85, of Winnsboro passed away February 5, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Sulphur Springs. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Sulphur Springs.
Born August 27, 1931 in Houston, Texas, Myrtle was the daughter of William Woodbine Davey and Thelma G. (Brown) Davey. On October 7, 1976 in Hugh, Oklahoma, she married Anthony Gerald Morgan. She was a retired clothing seamstress.
Her survivors include her son James Anthony Morgan; daughter Thelma Verdell Morgan; grandchildren Morgan Attaway, Page Morgan, Jay Morgan, and Holly Morgan; and great-grandchildren Ethan Lively, Anthony Lively, Kai Peters, Ellis Morgan, and Decker Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 sons Sidney Adams, Frankie Don Morgan, and Charles Ray Morgan.
